Background:
Padfield Community Primary School is a small, friendly village school on the outskirts of Glossop, which is on the edge of the Peak District National Park. The school was built in 1887 in the traditional T. It changed its name to Padfield Community Primary School from1st September 1999. A single classroom and office extension was officially opened in June 2000. In January 2003 the school opened with a new toilet block, together with a staff room, headteacher's office, secretary's office, storage room and internal renovations. The curriculum is the total of all the learning experiences provided by the school for your child. It aims to provide a broad and balanced curriculum at all stages of the child's development through which your child will be able to reach their full potential and develop their individual talents, interests and skills.
