Background:
The Priory School is a co-educational, comprehensive foundation school for pupils aged between 11 to 19 years. The school opened in 1965, and had further extensions in 1972 and 1974. The specialist accommodation at present includes a range of science laboratories, music rooms, library, gymnasium and hall. The school has a policy, which covers the definition, identification of and provision for these pupils. The school aims to develop the sporting ability of each individual, both within the curriculum and by offering a wide range of extra-curricular activities. The school'strives to enable each pupil to reach his or her full potential by monitoring and attempting to improve classroom performance.
