Brackensdale Junior School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is seven to 11. It was opened in 1954. The accommodation is spacious and includes a sports hall, a separate dinning hall, library and computer room. It also has two playgrounds and extensive playing fields. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include rugby, cricket, hockey, football, badminton and running clubs. The school aims to create a caring, secure environment in which each individual can feel happy and confident.
