Background:
Historic Victorian School set in beautiful rural location and has good links with local Church. School pride itself on how it prepares children for secondary school. It has a strong tradition in music, drama and sports and provides wide range of extra-curricular activities. In 2003, all pupils' are offered a residential experience from infant sleepover at school to week away for Year 6 pupils'. The school has won Basic Skills Quality Mark (2003) and DfES Achievement Award. 'The school is summed up by its motto of "Learning, laughing, living". We try to offer a good, enjoyable education while preparing the child for life outside school'.
