Background:

Walter Evans Church Of England Primary School was built in 1975 as an open plan school from the result of amalgamation of two small Church of England schools. The school offers a wide range of extra-curricular clubs, sport, creative, language, and technical activities. It has strong links with parents and community. The school has also achieved Investor in People status in 2004 and DfES achievement award in 2001. The school is a neighbourhood school with Christian values and respectful family atmosphere oriented towards whole child potential.
